| Notes | Peper Harow is unique to the South East area in that the field start
by going up the middle of the course. The field then do two and a half laps
of a mainly flat course before going up the middle again to finish the race.
The 'start area' is always wetter than the remainder of the course.
Very picturesque setting but, for ordinary spectators, not easy to find a place where you can see more than a third of the course or more than a couple of fences. (Take your own scaffolding job! The local farmers always travel in their pickup truck!) |
