MIDHURST (Cowdray Park)
(This racecourse is no longer in use.)
| General Location | Cowdray Park, MIDHURST The course lay just to the North-East of Midhurst village and had the Cowdray Park polo pitch within it. The course was very good for spectators - parking was on the outside of the course (approx. from the finish line to the fifth fence which was the highest point of the course and it was possible to see all round. |

| Notes | A good viewing course as the cars were parked up by the A272 and were able to look down over all of the course. Very picturesque as well with the ruins down by the botton corner with the town behind it. | ||
| History | The course (and indeed the Cowdray Hunt Point-to-Point) opened up in 1947. They invariably raced there, once a year, on Easter Monday until the Cowdray Hunt merged with the Chiddingfold & Leconfield in 1987. |
