Looking at the aerial map the start is in the middle at the left. Downwards and the first jumps us into the middle field horizontal field, the second into the big field at the botton, turn left and jump 3 goes into the bottom right field. Left again and somebody has buried the fourth fence under the industrial units. Left again and fence five is approx. due north of fence 3. Fence 6 takes us into the left horizontal field. Fence 7 jumps us into the long thin field (the light coloured one). Luckily, from the aerial picture, someone has left the gap in the hedgeline where we swing right handed. and jumping fence eight will bring us back into the field that we started in.

The Old Surrey & Burstow started racing at the Spitals Cross course in 1951. The Eridge joined them there from 1953 to 1957. The Old Surrey & Burstow remained there until 1962 when they travelled a few miles up the road to a course at Four Elms.
