(opens in new window)

If you look at the aerial map the course will have been held in the second and third fields from the road on the left, crossing the path way into the field on the south-east and then swinging back into the big field on the right.

Notes

The Crockham Course was located just a couple of miles to the south of the old Limpsfield course.

Only went the twice (as much as anyone did!) - can't remember anything about it. If anybody does please drop me an e-mail at pointingse@aol.com

History The Old Surrey & Burstow were there from 1974 to 1976. Ironically our analysis of the weather conditions during the past 30 years (click here to go to page - the analysis is at the bottom) shows those three years to be the one of the three wettest and two of the driest springs since 1972. Anyway - they lost the 1975 meeting because it was too wet. In 1977 the Old Surrey & Burstow joined the West Kent (who had to move) to the course at Penshurst.
