2009 Best Turned Out Prizes
OK Lets be honest - this is now a damage limitation exercise. In previous seasons I have printed out a form which is given to the offcian announcer to fill in as they announce each best turned out. I then collect the form after the meeting is finished. The form has my address printed on the rear so that they can fold it up and post it if I should forget. Anyway a couple of times this season I have forgotten to take the form with me and I have missed a couple of meetings due to Amy racing at Newbury and Aintree. And of course not all announcers are as reliable as Mr. Ball. There are therefore a couple of meetings for which I do not appear to have the details of the best turned out winners. So I think that the best option is for me to list those that I have got and to allow those honest ones amongst you to post the missing winners on the messageboard so that I can complete the details. To be honest the records I have got are spread all over the place so it may take me a couple of days to fill in what I have got - (To be honest, when I was still with pointers, I always seemed to see the b.t.o prize as the kiss of death - if we won that then we never won the race - Luckily Amy blew the lid on that one at Kempton in early December!)
