2005 AREA TROPHY PRESENTATIONS

In 2005 the area tried something new for the presentation of the area trophies - a lunchtime outside hog roast. The function was hosted by the areas race starter (& chairman of the area's racing supporters club) - Howard Jarvis and his 'other half' Sally. Somewhere between 150 and 200 people enjoyed drinks, the roast and afternoon (& early evening) sunshine with gorgeous views of the Kent & Sussex countryside.

(One local area owner (& occasional rider) was seen attempting to prise two inebriated area lady jockeys together with a third lady(?) into the rear seats of his car towards the end of proceedings!)
